Attention deficit disorder (ADD) and Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD) is a condition where one has poor attention and distractibility and/or hyperactive and impulsive behaviors.
ADHD is commonly found in children. On estimate is two million children or 3 to 5 percent of preschool and school age children have ADHD in the United States. About 60% of those who are diagnosed with ADHD continue to show symptoms as they become adults, which means that adult ADHD is manifested by 8 million adults in the US. Unfortunately, adult ADHD is not as easily diagnosed as childhood ADHD, and only a few adults get treated for it. ADD and ADHD Resources
